Thanks for stopping by our new blog.  We are a family of five plus 2 dogs.   Starting the primal/paleo lifestyle wasn't to cure any major health issues or anything else.   The way we were eating and exercising just didn't seem right.   We found Mark's Daily apple and the Primal Blueprint and off we went.   It seems as if we are learning new things everyday.  The interesting part is that so much of what we are learning seems like common sense.   Eat real foods, have fun exercising, cut out grains, and get plenty of rest.   These are things that make so much sense, but are also overlooked by so many people.   The first and most important point of both ways to eat is to ditch the grains and inflammatory oils (soy, corn, vegetable, canola, to name a few).   Going grain free seems tough at first, but I really haven't missed it after the first few months.   The general improvement in how you feel is well worth it.   Check out the documentary Fat Head.   If you can get past your preconceived notion of what is right to do, you might actually stumble unto a healthier existence like we have.
